Volunteers needed to pack up the library

Are you a great organizer? Do you have "mad" packing skills? Due to upcoming HVAC installation and construction, ALL BOOKS in the Jefferson Library (2nd and 3rd floors) will need to be packed and stored BEFORE the last day of school.

Supplies will be provided. Hours are flexible. Sign up for any day that you can attend (arrive at school during the time that is most convenient for you and help for the timeframe that you are available).

We have MANY open positions for next year's PTA Board. Benefits of being a board member: working with Building Leaders, getting to know Staff, planning educational and fun events and fundraisers for our kids, communicating important district and school information, advocating for our kids, meeting new people and so much more! f these roles are not filled, the PTA cannot function.

We would like our board to represent the variety and diversity of our Jefferson community including working parents, South Orange and Maplewood residents, moms and dads. Get involved! Grab a friend and sign up!

Participation is VOLUNTARY. Responses are ANONYMOUS.

Staff Appreciation Week May 2- 6

The Jefferson PTA will be celebrating ALL of our staff with goodies throughout the week. If you'd like to contribute (to help with the cost of flowers, meals, etc) please click here to donate $5.

Jefferson Art Show is Wednesday, May 25, 4-6pm

Save the Date! The Jefferson Art Show will be Wednesday, May 25 from 4-6pm onf the FRONT LAWN of school.

Every student will have one piece of art on display. Additionally, a second piece of art will be framed and available for purchase online as an art fundraiser.

Recess Volunteers Needed

Can you spare an hour or an afternoon? Sign up here to supervise a recess station that will offer our kids some variety and fun, in addition to their existing recess rotations. (Crafts, Birding, Nature, Yoga, Scavenger, Fitness)

Activities and supplies (if applicable) will be provided. Stations will be optional for students to participate.

Volunteers will meet in the FRONT of school (near Maryland Rd.) All activities will be outdoors and weather permitting.
