Every night in the United States, nearly 600,000 people live on the streets and need simple things like socks to help them get through the night.  Socks are one of the items that are asked for most often.   

Through Feed SOMany and MEND (Meeting Essential Needs with Dignity) we will be collecting socks that will be donated to neighbors in Essex County.   

Socks of all sizes will be collected between October 1-31. We will have a collection bin in the lobby near the Jefferson's main entrance. We will also be collecting at our PUMPKIN PATCH on Saturday, 10/26.
