The following is a list of PTA Event Committees where we would appreciate any and all help. How can you help? There are various contributions that families can make to assist. Volunteering is a great way to contribute to the school and to have a role in our community.

Ice Cream Social | August & September

Help welcome new and returning Bolden families to an outside event on the Bolden playground during the start of the school year.  Volunteers needed to hand out ice cream to students and their families.

School Supply Kits | June & August/September

Assist chairperson with parent communication and ordering kits, distribution in fall.

Welcome Back Teacher Luncheon | September

Solicit food and monetary donations from Bolden families for this annual staff luncheon.

School Pictures | Early Fall

Help to coordinate students on picture day.

Walk-A-Thon | October

Manage fundraising platform, gather volunteers, facilitate DJ, coordinate teachers and classes for this popular fundraiser! 

Scholastic Book Fair | Fall

During the Fall, assist the Book Fair Committee with planning, unpacking books, decorating, helping students complete wish lists, assist parents with purchases, and/or fulfill student orders.

Bolden Variety Show | TBD

Assist with auditions, rehearsals and show preparation.  Sell event tickets, refreshments.  

Holiday Staff Breakfast | December

Solicit food and monetary donations from Bolden families for this annual staff holiday breakfast.

Read-A-Thon | Winter

Assist with parent communication and staff coordination around this event.

Diversity Festival | Winter

Recruit and coordinate Bolden families as they showcase food, music, and cultural items.

Teacher Time Raffle | Spring

Assist in coordinating teacher donations to be raffled off, organizing student entries and announcing winners.

Annual Bolden Art Show | Spring

Help coordinate planning and implementation for this all important event showcasing the creativity of every Bolden student.  

Staff Appreciation | April/May 

Coordinate planning and implementation for this all important week to celebrate Jefferson staff.

Field Day | May

Springtime activity which relies on volunteers to help facilitate field day games and activities for all Bolden school students.
